Senior Financial Accountant/Controller

Join us in this role where you’ll be responsible for a broad set of financial accounting and reporting processes concerning the Group’s legal entities, incl. month-end closing, reconciliations, and statutory accounts, as well as performing internal controls. You’ll also play a significant role in process optimization, aided by your significant experience in the field.

You’ll be part of the Financial Accounting Team where you, together with your colleagues, will be responsible for delivering standardized and timely accounting and reporting products within Financial Accounting.As a team, we create a workplace culture centered around teamwork and development through close collaboration with our colleagues and stakeholders within and outside of the Financial Accounting department.

 

You’ll play an important role in:

  • preparing local financial statements, engaging with our external auditors, and providing high-quality audit documentation as part of our annual audit wheel
  • reporting on legal entities for group reporting purposes (IFRS) and maintaining a high-quality control environment
  • driving the continuous optimization of processes, specifically in connection with month-end closing and our reporting systems, and involvement in ad hoc projects
  • preparing appropriate financial journals and reconciling your entities’ accounts with respect to period end close deadlines

To succeed in the role, you:

  • have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in accounting, controlling, or similar (ACA-qualified)
  • have extensive relevant experience, incl. full set of financial statements preparation, thorough knowledge of IFRS; familiarity with German GAAP is an advantage
  • are fluent in written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate complex financial matters clearly and effectively; proficiency in German is a big plus
  • are a highly competent user of the Microsoft Office suite, incl. Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, and have experience with financial accounting and reporting software, preferably SAP and Hyperion
  • thrive in a changing environment, take responsibility, self-driven and can work independently while also enjoying collaborating with colleagues across teams and national borders.demonstrate analytical thinking, logical reasoning, and the ability to critically assess information.

Position salary range: 

For this position, the expected base pay range is zł144,880.00- zł217,310.00 for the advertised location. The offered base salary will be determined within this range based on relevant skills, experience, and expected role fulfilment within the stated pay range to ensure a fair and competitive offer. Where applicable, you may also be eligible for variable payment and a comprehensive benefits package.
