Join us in this role where you’ll work at the intersection of quantitative analysis, software development, and business understanding. As a team, we have a collaborative and inclusive working culture. Knowledge sharing, experimentation, and continuous learning are central to how we work. You’ll be encouraged to challenge existing approaches, contribute new ideas, and help shape how our models, tools, and development setup evolve over time, including increased use of AI where it adds real value. We value open dialogue and take pride in supporting Ørsted’s vision of creating a world that runs entirely on green energy, while making sure there’s always room for laughter and learning.

You’ll play an important role in:

  • developing and evolving risk models, including stress testing and scenario analysis, that support senior decision-making
  • improving model quality, transparency, and robustness
  • contributing to clear and accessible documentation so models are understandable, trusted, and easy to work with
  • collaborating closely with stakeholders to translate requirements into practical
  • running and supporting monthly production cycles: preparing inputs, monitoring runs, troubleshooting issues, and helping ensure timely and reliable delivery
  • exploring and applying AI and modern tooling to enhance model development, testing, and workflows.

To succeed in the role, you:

  • have solid Python skills and working knowledge of SQL and data handling
  • are comfortable working with code in a structured environment (e.g. version control, modular code, unit testing)
  • have experience with or a willingness to learn, ReactJS and MUI frontend development
  • relevant experience, preferably within a financial institution, energy/commodities company, or similar analytical environment
  • have a quantitative mindset (e.g. mathematics, economics, engineering, or similar)
  • can understand and debug existing systems and contribute to incremental improvements
  • communicate clearly and collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • have some exposure to risk concepts such as stress testing or scenario analysis, or an interest in learning.

Maybe you’ve read the above and can see you have some transferable skills, even though they don’t quite match all the points. If you think you can bring something to the team, we still encourage you to apply.
