Senior Sourcing Manager - Professional Services

You will utilise and develop your skills within negotiations and tenders in close cooperation with skilled colleagues being project managers, lawyers, tax-experts, management consultants to mention some few professionals, supporting our vision of a world that runs entirely on green energy.

 

Welcome to Indirect Procurement
You’ll be part of the Indirect Procurement department where you, together with your colleagues, will be responsible for executing strategies that optimize costs and secure supply within Professional Services and Facility Services.  The Indirect Procurement department manage all Indirect Spend in Ørsted, from Facility Management, Professional Services, People & Culture, IT & Digital, Brand & Marketing etc. Indirect Procurement is organised in three “Procurement Clusters”, all led by a Head of Procurement for specific categories, who leads the procurement team consisting of Sourcing and Contract Managers.

This role is in the Professional Services & Facility Management Procurement team. Your focus is primarily on Professional Services (Legal- & Financial services, Consultancy, Insurance, M&A etc.). This role will conduct some larger sourcing processes, impacting various and many business units.

As a team, we are dedicated to deliver high value to our stakeholders across the organisation through best-in-class commercial management of supplier relationships.

 

You’ll play an important role in:

  • leading sourcing projects end to end (developing sourcing strategies, leading sourcing boards, negotiating agreements etc.)
  • running larger and complex tenders (EU and non-EU tenders)
  • negotiating complex contracts, not subject for tendering, ensuring high value results.
  • managing global frame agreement with strategic suppliers, appointed to you focusing on SRM processes
  • contributing to development of category strategies
  • building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders on all levels of the organization

 

To succeed in the role, you:

  • have a strong commercial mindset, and documented results that impact business performance
  • have solid experience in sourcing of complex projects
  • have experience in drafting and reviewing legal contracts
  • have a proactive “can-do” attitude and are a positive person who sees opportunities to make an impact and lead own projects
  • possess strong interpersonal skills allowing for a prominent level of stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration
  • have experience with running public EU tenders.
