Senior Tax Specialist

Join us in this role where you’ll ​support tax compliance and reporting activities with a particular focus on Polish VAT. You’ll work closely with colleagues across finance, accounting, business functions, and external stakeholders to ensure robust and compliant tax processes supporting our growing international business. ​

You’ll be part of ​the Global Tax Compliance & Reporting team​ where you, together with your colleagues, will ​work closely with internal stakeholders, shared service teams, and external advisors to ensure accurate and compliant tax reporting across multiple jurisdictions. ​

You’ll play an important role in:  

  • ​​overseeing Polish VAT compliance and reporting activities across local entities and establishments ​ 
  • ​​ensuring high-quality and accurate tax reporting through effective controls, data validation, and process improvements ​ 
  • ​​acting as a key contact point for tax authorities, external advisors, and internal stakeholders on Polish VAT matters ​ 
  • ​​ensuring compliance with local tax regulations and monitoring implementation of legislative changes ​ 
  • ​​supporting tax audits, internal reporting requirements, and compliance-related initiatives ​ 
  • ​​supporting broader direct and indirect tax compliance activities across the group ​ 

 

To succeed in the role, you:  

  • ​​have solid experience with Polish VAT compliance, including SAF-T/JPK, VAT controls, reconciliations, and tax data validation ​ 
  • ​​understand end-to-end VAT compliance processes and can assess data accuracy, identify risks, and drive process improvements ​ 
  • ​​have experience working with ERP systems, preferably SAP, and tax reporting tools such as OneSource ​ 
  • ​​are comfortable working with large volumes of data and driving automation and process efficiencies ​ 
  • ​​are confident communicating with local tax authorities and implementing VAT law and process changes in Poland ​ 
  • experience with direct and indirect tax compliance in other jurisdictions will be considered an advantage  
  • are fluent in Polish and English, both verbally and in writing
