Supply Manager

Join us in this role where you’ll ensure the availability of tools, spare parts, main components, and crane materials for our sites. Acting as the first point of contact, you will create purchase orders and ensure deliveries align with our demands and policies.

You’ll be part of our dynamic procurement team where you, together with your colleagues, will optimize procurement categories and contribute to overall savings.

As a team, we value continuous improvement and collaborative efforts to enhance operational purchasing processes.

 

You’ll play an important role in:

  • creating purchase orders according to requisitions and Ørsted’s policies
  • allocating suppliers and submitting orders while ensuring best price, quality, and delivery date
  • sourcing new suppliers and negotiating prices and lead times where no contracts exist
  • optimizing procurement categories with collaborative input from Sourcing & Category Managers
  • participating in continuous improvement suggestions for operational purchasing processes
  • ensuring supplier management and evaluation in cooperation with Sourcing & Category Managers.

 

To succeed in the role, you:

  • have a strong understanding of procurement policies and procedures
  • are skilled in supplier management and sourcing new suppliers
  • are adept at negotiating prices and ensuring quality standards
  • possess excellent organizational and communication skills
  • can work collaboratively within a team to achieve common goals
  • are proactive in suggesting continuous improvements.
