System Consultant for Energy Trading and Risk Management

You’ll be part of New Markets and Products Team in Trading Express ART (Agile Release Train) where you, together with your colleagues, will be responsible for delivering new products and operating our existing products and platforms within the trading landscape. We are working as a global scrum team, being part of a bigger competency team of 30 skilled technical experts. We are amazing team having direct impact and influence on the way we work. You’ll play an important role in:
- designing, developing, and delivering new products and markets across different CTRM/ETRM systems
- working closely with the Front Office, Risk Management, Back Office, and other relevant stakeholders on product design, market enablement, and IT operations
- shaping domain designs and acting as a Subject Matter Expert for trade capture and deal lifecycle
- contributing to operational excellence through incident handling, root cause analysis, and change requests / enhancements implementation
- after thorough onboarding, participating in 24x7 on-call support roster rotation.
To succeed in the role, you:
- bring to us intermediate to advanced knowledge of commodity trading and risk management platforms, specifically Openlink Endur version 18 or higher
- have experience in technical development and programming using Openlink API Framework for writing scripts and plug-ins, Java, PL / SQL, as well as Endur specific OpenJVS, GIT, and you are acquainted with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- worked previously in the energy trading sector, especially in front office, back office or middle office / risk solutions
- understand different energy products, their trade life cycle design and utilization of instruments in Endur (financial, physical, or storage product modelling)
- have strong backend investigation skills and have the ability of supporting post deployment elements / hypercare; some knowledge in cloud & microservices implementation and ETRM systems re-implementation would be great (but is not required)
- are curious, passionate about problem-solving, and appreciate working in an agile, transparent, and trust-based working culture.
