You’ll be part of Application Maintenance and Expansion Services team where you, together with your colleagues, will ensure the smooth operation of IT applications crucial to our wind and power plant operations, as well as shared functions. As the primary caretaker of specific applications, you will engage in regular interactions with users and stakeholders throughout the organization. In collaboration with various IT groups, we provide consistent production, manage application lifecycles, and handle project services, all within an agile framework across our locations. As a team, we build our culture on mutual support, continuous learning, and knowledge sharing.
You’ll play an important role in:
- supporting and maintaining a close dialogue with business users in daily operations
- working in an agile way in the Application Consultants team and through team efforts, succeeding with the ambitions for Application Maintenance and Expansion Services
- maintaining and securing existing production infrastructure and application components
- participating in application lifecycle management activities and projects across the organisation
- collaborating with architects, IT engineers, and other key stakeholders to design and implement new projects
- assisting in a Cloud journey.
To succeed in the role, you:
- are excellent at building stakeholder relations and want to contribute to team successes
- are good at planning, organising, and communicating complex tasks with overview and precision in an open and constructive environment where English is the corporate language
- have knowledge of software and system lifecycle management from initial deployment to maintenance, have experience with IT support for complex business processes and applications
- have solid experience with server operating systems, incl. Windows server and Linux, and have knowledge of at least one type of relationship databases
- know how to automate and have scripting experience in, e.g., Powershell
- have experience with web server and application server technologies, such as IIS, Apache, Tomcat, Weblogic, etc, and possess basic understanding of network troubleshooting.
